My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Super-friendly! Super cute! Super-dooper wonderful! I think my name should be SuperDog but for now WIllard will have to do. For some reason I was cruising the streets without my cape--I mean, without a collar--and that's how I ended up behind bars. I'm trying to make the best of it here by playing with the dog in the run next to me and enjoying the bone a volunteer gave me--I really like having something to do (as a bonafide SuperDog it's best for my reputation not to appear too lazy, you see)! The volunteer who took my photos said I have a super personality (is it just me or do we detect a "super" pattern here?) and that she would take me home with her if she could...but she can't, unfortunately, so I am accepting applications for a human sidekick. The successful applicant must know how to snuggle on the couch for those times when our Super Hero garb is at the cleaners; must know that the way to a hound's heart is through his nose and stomach (I'm sure you'll have a few Super Tricks to teach me and I will learn best through positive reinforcement and LOTS of treats! Did I mention I like treats?) and be aware that my long ears and big, brown eyes are like Kryptonite to humans and that they can and will be used against you!
