Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hula is a 4 month old, tan with black fur around her muzzle female Shepard/Black Mouth Cur mix. She will probably be a medium to large sized adult when she matures. She currently weighs approx. 28 pounds. Some good samaritans witnessed Hula and her four sister siblings being dumped out of a truck in a neighborhood near a military base. The Samaritans quickly worked for two days to put the scared five litter mates back together in a safe place. Her one sister has been already adopted into her forever NW home here. Hula has a very sweet, lovable and happy personality. She is definitely a companion dog. She is a little shy and timid and takes some time to get used to new people. Once she warms up to you, she wants you to play with her and she wants to be where ever you are at. She is very smart. She is learning sit and how to walk nicely on a leash. She is also adjusting to her crate training. She will do well in an active, calm and patient family without children where she will get daily walks, hikes or runs. Recommend that she is the only dog until she gains self-confidence and has great doggy social skills. Hula is crate trained and she was eating 3 times a day about 1.5 cups of puppy pedigree Just to be certain we wish to adopt Hula to a home without children or other dogs or pets. Typically, black mouth curs are fantastic loyal dogs who do need exercise and stimulation to keep them happy. Hence, this is not a dog we will adopt if you live in an apartment. As with all young puppies, she cannot be kenneled all day while you are at work. Adoption fee is flexible, what is not negotiable is a loving forever home
