Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Olympia is a ten year old German Shorthaired Pointer or a GSP mix who is a senior with a lot of spunk! She may be in her golden years chronologically but not in her attitude. Olympia loves to walk and has a lot of energy for an older dog. She likes dogs and she still likes to play. The benefit of adopting an older dog like Olympia is that she is already house-trained, she has a calm, balanced energy; she is quiet, respectful and someone taught her basic obedience. It is clear that her former family loved her a lot, since she is well socialized with both people and pets. We will never know her true story of her life since she came into the South L.A. shelter as a stray. It is hard for us at Downtown Dog Rescue to imagine this friendly dog wandering the streets of South L.A. for too long. As friendly as Olympia is, we bet that she greeted every stranger she met. Olympia is a wonderful dog who deserves to have the golden years of her life in a loving home. She is spayed, up-to-date with shots and is also micro-chipped.
