My story

Look at that adorable face! Ava is one of the cutest little Boxer gals we've come across. Those big brown eyes love to look deep into your eyes looking for the signal from you that the game of chase or play can begin. Once she sees that she bounds off ready for the game! She is a goofy, loving doggie. It's no surprise that Ava is a big volunteer favorite. Here are some of the notes about her from our volunteers:

“Ava greeted me with tons of kissed, hugs and a wagging tail. What a big puppy!!! She was so excited to go. She just wants to run and play. She rode well in the car. At Petsmart, she greeted everyone happily - even children. She loves to be hugged. She wanted to play with all the dogs.”

“Ava was much smaller than I anticipated, but that did not take away from her big personality. Ava is one of the sweetest and affectionate girls that I know. She is such a delight to walk and loves to take snuggle breaks as often as allowed. She enjoys being pet, kissed, hugged and share her love with you. Ava has a mischievous twinkle in her eye.”

Our active, affectionate girl is looking for adventure with her new family. If you are an active household with daily long walks or even better runs, Ava is the gal for you. Long hikes on the weekend are ideal as well. After burning off all those calories our loving gal will quietly lay by you side at the coffee shop while you refuel. Another young, playful dog would be great for Ava too.
