My story

MY, MY, MY - Is that chocolate I see? Gage was an owner surrendered to a high kill shelter together. He is 15 months old and one great boy. We also got his momma too who was a purebred chocolate and gorgeous and has been adopted! We believe this young man to be lab mix and believe the father to be a hound of some type. Gage is crate trained, take treats nicely, but will need obedience lessons on basic skills and leash walking. He is young and will require young dog exercise consisting of running, playing, swimming, hiking, ball chasing and whatever kind of fun activity his new family can provide. Gage is a bit submissive, but still a big boy at about 70lbs, He is a little shy, but warms up nicely and is totally gorgeous with more of a hound look to him. We recommend a home with older more experienced children, and no cats. He is just an active pup who needs obedience and may be too much for smaller children and the smaller animals. He does great with his other labby foster siblings. Gage has been neutered, up to date on all vaccinations including rabies and is heartworm negative. He has been kept on frontline and heartgard and is micro-chipped.
