My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He is 3 years old and is one of our Lab-to-Leash retirees! Willie is friendly, but definitely a bit cautious; he just needs time to decide if a situation is “safe”. He LOVES to snuggle on the couch (or chair, or floor, or bed, he’s not picky). He is cat-friendly, and gets along with other dogs, but will not let them push him around. He does not push others around, either. He is a pretty live-and-let-live kind of beagle. He would be fine as an only dog too.

Being new to living in a home, Willie is still working on his housetraining and learning about life in a home, toys to play with, toys to chew on, etc. He needs work on leash-walking, but he enjoys it once he gets going. He is still learning that the world might be big and noisy, but it is a fun place to explore.

Willie loves to roll, whether outside in the grass or inside on the rug he can do a wonderful “wiggle-worm” impression, delighting his foster-humans. Overall, Willie is a cute, happy cuddle-bug and would love a family with older (10+) or no children, who is willing to give him time to get comfortable.
