My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Godiva, who is as sweet as chocolate and smart enough to run the chocolate factory. This 1.5 year old heeler mix knows "sit," "fetch," and "give me the ball," and comes when called at the dog park. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and ignores cats. She loves kids. She loves everyone. She jumps up to hug, but is quickly learning not to do that when told, "off." She weighs about 45lb's, but is a little underweight. Her foster mom is trying to get her up to 55lbs. Her absolute favorite thing to do is play fetch!
Godiva makes great eye contact with her beautiful yellow eyes, and wants to please and learn and be engaged. She will do best in a house where she will be part of the family and exercised either at the dog park, on a walk, or by playing fetch every day.
That said, she is very good outside in a fenced yard by herself and does not bark or dig or act wild in any way. She is a really good girl. Godiva would be a rock star at an obedience class and could easily go on to do agility or become a therapy dog.
