Aragorn's Story...
Hi, My name is Aragorn!

I am the rightful king from the Lord of the Rings. I am handsome, brave and true. I have VERY green eyes that take your breadth away. I get along with other cats - even my foster mom's cranky kitties. I am very loving. I let my foster mom smother me with kisses. I love to lean my head and whole body into her like a kid. I like to head butt her arm and sit close so we are touching. I am not much of a lap cat. I am respectful and smart. I have many many fans unfortunately, they all have many kitties of their own.

I like to look out the window and watch the action as well as play with the yeow catnip banana.

If you would like to meet me, complete the Humane Association of the Lowcountry (HAL) Adoption Application. It is located on the HAL web site. The url is

Purrs and nose kisses,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aragorn, a Beaufort Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Beaufort, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Beaufort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beaufort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beaufort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beaufort paves the way for another one to be saved.
