HAROLD's Story...
Harold is a one year old Dachshund mix and although we are pretty certain he is a mix, he has so much dachshund in him we were unsure of his other breed. It's possible he is a full blooded dachshund but not likely. harold is a wonderfully sweet boy, well adjusted, does very well with other dogs. He's happy. His tail is always wagging. Harold is also fine with cats, seems uninterested. The last photo posted is of Harold waking up on a rainy Tuesday morning. Harold is crate trained and house trained. He is not a chewer so he may not need to be crated. He loves people company. Harold is currently being fostered in Tennessee. Once he is adopted he will travel to his new home via transport. His adoption fee of 450.00 includes his neuter, vaccinations and microchip. For an adoption application on Harold please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HAROLD, a CHICAGO Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in CHICAGO, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in CHICAGO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in CHICAGO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a CHICAGO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in CHICAGO paves the way for another one to be saved.
