My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie is a friendly and sweet-natured young girl. We believe she is a little over a year old and is small in size and we are working on her weight. She has the most beautiful green eyes with a face that will melt your heart. She has had a rough start. First being purchased by an owner along with her sibling, the owner quickly overwhelmed sold her to another owner. The second owner realized they did not have the time to provide the attention she needed. She would also kill the neighbors chickens when they entered her yard. We feel she was chained as she does not like a collar, or leash but her foster parents are working with her with a gentle leader and harness. Sadie plays well with the other hounds with non squeaking toys, but she is fearful of squeaky toys. She also has a resistance to a crate or small enclosed places. Sadie has been an outside dog but is quickly (loving it!) adapting to inside living in her foster home with her new 5 bloodhound friends. She is potty trained and has no aggression with food, people or other dogs. Not sure how she will be with cats. Good with children. Sadie is adapting well in her foster home she loves to snuggle , give kisses in your ear and loves to sleep in the bed with her foster parents. We feel she would flourish in a home with other dogs and owners who will give her the time this young girl deserves. Her adoption fee is $250 and we require an above ground fenced yard.
