Lewis - adoption pending's Story...
Lewis – 10 year old – Male Affenpinscher

Lewis is a sweet senior male Affenpinscher at the age of 10 years who arrived in rescue through an owner surrender. He is a very timid boy and will need a patient family willing to give him time to warm up. He is losing his eyesight which we feel is the cause of his fear and being timid. Once Lewis builds up trust with his surroundings he is the sweetest and most loving little guy.

Lewis was debarked by his previous family and makes absolutely no noise at all. He is healthy other then the eyesight loss. He is best suited to a quieter home.

Lewis has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lewis - adoption pending, a Barriere Affenpinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Affenpinscher for sale in Barriere, or seeking a Affenpinscher dog from a breeder in Barriere.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Barriere already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Barriere breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Affenpinscher breeders who help with Affenpinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Barriere paves the way for another one to be saved.
