My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Echo and I am a 7 year old Blue 7 Gold Macaw. I came from a very loving family who could no longer keep me for personal reasons. I LOVE attention and will step up for you once I get to know you. I also like to hang out on top of my cage for some playtime. I also like to talk and my foster Dad says I talk really clearly. I can say Hello, Hello Echo, Echooooo!, step up, and goodnight. I love to eat and am on a healthy diet of quality pellets and fresh vegetables and some fruit and healthy nuts (remember, no peanuts for parrots!). I also enjoy hanging out on the porch (enclosed and supervised, of course!) or sitting and watching TV with the humans on the couch. I am a vocal bird – I am a macaw after all, but I am not what is considered a screamer. But, I will let you know if I’m excited or irritated. I love my chew toys and sometimes I beak your hand, that’s just me being me! My foster family says I will make a great companion for someone with time and patience as well as a good understanding of the difference between a bite and me playing with my beak. Please come meet me soon – I can’t wait to be introduced to you!
