Oscar's Story...
Oscar #1890 is a sweet 8-year-old male, Chihuahua mix. This handsome little guy is in need of a forever home like the one he had until now. Unfortunately his owner passed away and Oscar was left sad and confused. Oscar is so eager to please, and loves to be loved. His previous owner was retired, so he is used to having constant interaction, and a walking routine. He is fully house and leash trained, and is even great in the kennel. Oscar had a cat companion as well, and loves to play with them! He is great with other dogs. This playful boy weighs 15 pounds. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. See our Facebook page for updates: www.facebook.com/LCARMD

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Waldorf Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
