Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dakota is a 4 1/2 year old spayed female red and white Border Collie. She has a very sweet disposition and is extremely friendly once she gets to know you. She can be shy and timid around new people. She is very quiet and rarely barks. She is crate trained, leash trained, and knows some tricks (sit, down, shake). She is house trained and uses a doggie door.
Dakota's favorite thing is to play ball and frisbee. She also loves to go hiking. Her dislikes are loud noises, like fireworks.
Dakota loves both adults and children. She has never shown an ounce of aggression in her life. She would do fine in any home situation, whether it be with an active family or a quiet adult home. She is very adaptable. She gets along great with other dogs. She has not been raised around cats so it is unknown how she would act towards them.
Dakota is located in the Bakersfield area. Dakota is a courtesy listing and not part of BCIN's rescue program. Please contact Chelsea directly at chelseabrown6@yahoo.com or 661-599-8541 if you are interested in Dakota.
