My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It's hard to believe that Paris was picked up as a street stray, making her one of the thousands of homeless chihuahuas ending up in Bay Area shelters from San Jose to Vallejo. Chihuahua overbreeding has caused supply to far outstrip the demand, but Dusty Paws Rescue is hoping someone is looking for a companion just like sweet little Paris. Chihuahuas are ideal for apartment dwellers and they are satisfied with short walks.

Have you ever seen a softer expression? Paris is just as gentle and mellow as she looks. At a recent vet visit she impressed everyone with her calm demeanor even while getting a shot. Paris is friendly and outgoing and will let anyone carry her. The estimate of her age is 5 years, and she weighs just 5 1/2 lbs. She is a petite, slim girl with long legs. She loves basking in the sun and being in a lap.

Paris appears to be house-trained. She is not overly fond of being in a crate (would much rather join you on the bed) but if you insist, she will sleep in her own bed covered with a blanket.
