Maisey's Story...
Maisy
(DOB 5/5/14)

Maisy is a 4 mth old lab/border collie mix (minus her tail). She currently weighs approx. 28 pounds.

Maisy is an energetic, sweet girl who loves to play chase. She loves playing with her foster siblings and children. You'll find her fetching balls and playing in the water, which are her favorite pasttimes. She is crate trained and almost house trained, knows how to sit and is working on her stay command and her leash training.

Maisy is looking for a home with a secure fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play. She would also like to have other dogs to play with or some children to keep her busy. She is an inside/outside dog who loves to play outside but also have time inside with her family.

Maisy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for Parvo/Distemper, Bordetella and Rabies. She is on flea and heartworm prevention.

Maisy's adoption fee is only $95. Donations help us to keep our adoption fees low and allows us to help other animals in need.

If you are interested in this sweet pup or any other animal in our foster care, please visit our webpage at www.parkerpaws.org and complete an adoption application.

Thank You

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maisey, a Weatherford Labrador Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
