Hi my name is ARTHUR! I am so grateful that Team Cat rescue saved me from death row in a Quebec shelter and brought me to Ontario. They say I am a senior, approx. 8-10 years old, but I am so full of life and energy I feel more like a kitten! My foster home has been great; I quickly became friends with my foster dog & cat sisters and my human foster parents. I have never been a shy guy so it wasn’t too hard to get to know them. I am very confident and really just want to explore and have adventures everyday! I like to follow my foster dad around everywhere, especially to work in his shop. Watching him entertains me for hours. There are so many places to explore in his shop!
I have discovered that humans give me more treats and pay more attention to me when I make eye contact with them so I have mastered this technique. They tell me I am a true boy, large and masculine and that my paws are huge. I get bored easily and really want to play with my humans, I don’t know why they don’t want to play wrestle with me. They especially don’t like when I use my mouth when I play so I’m learning to do this less. I LOVE being around humans and always need to be with them but I’m not huge into cuddles unless it is on my own terms. When I’m feeling sleepy, I really love my head and chin scratched, it helps me fall asleep.
I would be best suited for a couple who has time to play with me, or in a home with other cats that I could play with. I don’t do well with young kids because they move to fast and pet me too much.
