My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES THELMA AND LOUISE INTO THE RESCUE!!!!

Thelma and Louise are 8 month old White German Shepherd Pups,

owner surrendered to IDGSR because the owners said they bit off more than they could chew financially and were going thru tough times,

we've all been there before, thankfully they did the right thing so that We could ensure that the girls go to a loving and great home where they will be nurtured and loved and educated to be bright and social dogs. That is the goal for all dogs adopted thru IDGSR. Education and Socialization are an extremely important aspect of raising and rearing emotionally healthy and happy German Shepherd children.

The girls are total loves, we initially thought no problem to separate them, however Louise seems very attached and dependent on her slightly larger and a little more confident sister Thelma. Both look so identical even to the fault in the one ear that flops over at times, that we call them Twinsies. They are happy healthy fully vetted and ready to go into a loving home that will help them blossom to well balanced youngsters and on to adulthood.

They are still very much puppies and love to sleep on the old futon here, are crate trained, etc, however they love to be close to each other. If you would like to make the 'Twinsies' members of your family, then please apply on our website. or at the link below by copying and pasting.
