My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MiMi is a sweet 2 year old Lab/Pit mix. She was surrendered to the shelter because her owner's landlord would not allow Pit Bulls. MiMi is a very playful and a little rambunctious. She's smart as a whip but will need training which she is getting now. She likes kids, cats and other dogs but because of her strength, kids in the family should be older. Mimi loved playing in her fenced in yard but did have a tendency to try and dig under the fence at times. Get you adoption app in now. MiMi will return to Friendship sometime in late December or January.

On October 16, 2014, MIMi was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

Please contact Friendship at 440-322-4321 if you decide not to adopt this prison dog so they can take your name off the list.
