Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello. My name is Petey. I had a home that I shared with my family. Then they needed to find me a new home as the landlord said they could no longer keep me. Then Chicagoland Dog Rescue said they would find me a good new home. When I meet new people, it takes me a few minutes to warm up to people, but then I just want to sit with them and let them pet me, and pet me, and pet me. I am doing well with the dogs and cats in my foster home.
My foster mom says that I am 6 year old, Chihuahua/Terrier mix that is housebroken, crate trained, and an easy to take care of little boy. I only weigh 14 lbs, but I have long legs so I do look bigger. My foster mom says that I really enjoy being with my person as I am her little shadow. I really enjoy being with her (sitting watching TV or following her around the house). I also enjoy laying (hiding) in my foster mom’s bed—as you can see from one of my pictures.
If you think you might be that new home that I have been looking for, please contact Chicagoland Dog Rescue. Hope to hear from you soon.
Love,
Petey
