Layla's Story...
Layla is a perfect lady. We think she'd be a great dog for someone who is new to pet ownership. She has no negatives! She rides well in the car, is at ease with other dogs, and TOTALLY ignores cats. In fact, we tested her with a two pound kitten and she wasn't interested. Amazing. She drew the attention of our volunteer with her expressive eyes and gentle manner. It's hard to not love this little girl. If you'd like to meet her and see what you think, please email info@FORrescue.net. Her full vet appointment is scheduled and she'll be ready for adoption asap. At adoption, she'll be heartworm tested, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, parasite free, and examined by a vet. She's fostered in Huntsville, AL. Thank you for reading!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Homewood Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
