Buttercup's Story...
Buttercup is a beautiful female Pitbull. Her D.O.B. is2/26/07. She has lived in the home for 2 and a half years now. Her owners had financial difficulties and they returned her to MAS. She lived in a home with a 2 year old at the time. She is good with kids, cats, and dogs. She is a sweety and loves to get belly rubs and lots of petting. She is excellent at listening to your problems and loves to go for walks with you. She is potty trained, and did live with a cat in her previous home. She gets a little afraid of thunder storms but not to an extreme. All in all she is a great dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttercup, a Lake Odessa Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
