Meet Ava born around 08/11/14 and weighing 9 pounds as of October 10th. Ava is a sweetheart,and everyone who meets her just falls in love with her. She is just a doll, wonderful with other dogs, but likes to chase a cat and pin them down, not to be mean but to play. Most cats don't like that behavior, so a home without kitties might be best for your feline. If you are gone working all day, a puppy isn't the right match for you. A quick 30 minute walk in the afternoon at lunch is not enough exercise for an active dog.
Ava is being fostered in a home in South Naperville around other cats and dogs, and children. Given she is a little shy, Ava has been visiting many families to help her see the world and all that goes with it. It's really worked as she has really come out of her shell. Every family who has had the pleasure of spending time with her just adores her. She is a wonderful puppy and so loves to give hugs and kisses. She would be wonderful in a home with children. Anyone who meets her will fall in love with her. Ava came from southern Illinois. She was dropped off at a kill shelter where she was rescued then put on transport to Angels On Wheels.

We do not have a physical building for you to visit thus the reason an application is required prior to making an appointment. Thank you for your understanding and patience!
The adoption fee of $300.00 includes: The spaying which will be done when she is old enough and paid for buy the rescue if done through one of our participating vets. A $50.00 spay deposit, not cashed and fully refundable once spay is done will be required. She has had her first puppy vaccination, vet check, microchip, dewormed with panacur, treated with revolution and capstar, leash and collar.
You will also receive a free office visit to one of our participating vets for a free health exam. Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
