Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Andi is a sweet tempered, friendly and affectionate girl. She likes to be with her people but can also amuse herself. She is fine when left alone for a normal working day but it would be nice for someone to be home more often than not to continue her training and confidence building. She is a real sweetheart and would do well as a family pet or as a single's companion. Andi is approximately 2 - 3 years old and currently weighs approximately 30 lbs.
Here is what else her foster family had to say:
Andi is a very loving, patient and friendly girl. She appears to make friends easily and seems to love everyone she meets. She is also friendly with other dogs she meets on her walks. We don't have other pets so are not sure how she would be with a cat but I can't see there being a problem.
Andi is a very good looking dog, at least we think so! She is an energetic dog so does need a good walk each day and a backyard to play in would be good for her. She loves to play and enjoys her toys although she will tear apart her stuffies. She enjoys music and dancing but not too loud as loud noises and angry voices do scare her. She also will not go anywhere near the laundry room and hates it when I am using the pressure cooker.
Andi loves her cuddle time with family when everyone in the room is watching a movie or just chit chatting with each other. She is learning so many new things, like walking on a leash, doing her job outside, what she can and can not play with and all her basic commands. She understands "NO" and "COME" and we are working on other commands such as sit. She is a little bit inquisitive and likes to know what we are eating but she understands the command "NO" and responds instantly. She is well on her way to being house trained and does let us know when she needs to go out. Initially she did not like the crate so we didn't use it. She is free in the house, even in the night she sleeps on her doggy bed on the main floor.
Andi is a very friendly dog that just needs someone that is willing to teach her all the things she needs to know to become a capable, confident companion. She is eager to please and picks things up quickly so just loving her and giving her a place to learn and grow with a family interested in playing and walking with her would be wonderful.
If you think your family would be a good choice for Andi, please submit an application for consideration.
