Bo is a tall, leggy, neutered 16 month old yellow Lab mix that was born to play. He is considered high energy and loves to take walks and to play fetch. He would make a terrific jogging/hiking partner and he does really well wearing a Halti when he walks on lead, and he does requir at least one long walk on a daily basis. Bo will need a fenced in yard or a nearby fenced in park where he can play fetch on a daily basis. He waits for you to go outside with him and will immediately get into "fetch" position when he sees the ball or chuckit ball launcher. This launcher is highly recommended to make the ball go further and to save your arm. Bo enjoys playing with other dogs and really enjoys dog parks. He lives with several other dogs in his foster home. Bo enjoys car rides and does really well on his rides. He is ok with the kitties in his foster home, but he will chase them on occasion because he wants to play. Due to Bo's youthfulness, only children over 12 should live with him. He requires a lot of your daily attention. Bo's inside activity is to chew on elk antlers and Nylabone wishbones. These are his favorite toys and he looks for them inside the home. Bo will snuggle with you and loves attention, especially when he hears "good boy". He is very affectionate. Bo is crate trained, housetrained and is doing well with manners training. He does not jump on you, but will give you a high five! He sits nicely for a treat and takes them very gently from your hand. Bo weighs in at about 85 lbs. Bo is current on vaccinations and is HW negative. He has been kept on monthly flea and HW preventative.
