My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: January 2013

Reagan spent the first year and a half of her life in a pet hoarding situation, living in deplorable conditions and unfortunately was never taken to the vets for care or to be spayed. Due to this situation, she had two litters of kittens when she was still just a kitten herself. Fortunately, Reagan and her second litter of kittens were rescued from these horrible conditions by a FFN volunteer foster mother and subsequently brought into foster care. Reagan and her babies now feel like they are living at the White House and are cared for extremely well. Reagan’s babies are referred to as the Presidential Litter and are named Lincoln, Kennedy, Carter, Ike and Madison.

Reagan is a wonderful mother and doted on her babies constantly. She talks to them all the time with cute chirps and meows. Her babies are now fully weaned and will soon be adopted into new forever homes. Reagan is also hoping that she will be adopted into a forever home, and it would be so nice if she were able to stay with one of her babies to grow old with. She loves all her babies, but seems especially close with her only daughter, Madison. However, Reagan would also do well as an only cat. She has no experience with dogs or small children, so this would be quite an adjustment for her.

Since we know that Reagan has had two litters of kittens, we are estimating her birthday to be around 1/1/13. However, Reagan never had much of a “kittenhood” and seems like she is still very much of a kitten. She LOVES to play with anything, a feather wand, little fuzzy mice, etc. But her absolute favorite game is playing fetch with a special, sparkly pink ball. She could play this game for hours! When she finally does get tired, Reagan likes to sit on your lap and be petted. She has a sweet purr and chirps her approval to you.

Reagan is a beautiful kitty, with light brown fur that has golden highlights when she’s in the sun. Her eyes are a gorgeous golden/copper color. She’s regained her pre-pregnancy slim figure and is quite a stunning cat. Some of her markings look as if she has some Bengal cat in her lineage. Wouldn’t you love to tell your friends you have a “President” living in your home?? Please put in your application soon to adopt Reagan, and maybe one of her babies too, before they are all claimed!!

This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and been micro-chipped and altered (or will be micro-chipped and altered prior to adoption).

Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).

If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact ffncats@yahoo.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
