Norman's Story...
Norman is my name and cuddling is my game. I am fostered in Hazel Green, Alabama with my brother and sister and lots of other animals to play with. I get along great with all of the cats, dogs and even kids. I'm the most talkative of the group and I usually whine until I get picked up and loved on. When anyone picks me up, I curl right up on them and fall fast asleep. They tell me I am a 2 pound Dachshund mix (whatever that is). If you would like to cuddle me then fill out a application at http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. We'll contact you right away! info@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norman, a Nashville Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
