MAX's Story...
It sure is nice to meet you, I’ve heard the nicest things about you! I’m the guy everyone’s been talking about. I’m Max! the 2 year old Pit Bull. EXTRA social, very goofy, extremely handsome. You know what they say about Pit Bulls, we have a BIGGEST smiles of them all. I’m sure you’ve heard. I’m a bit of a rough and tumble pup so I could use a bit of training… but on the bright side I play well with dogs and cats. That’s pretty much me in a pup shell. I just got into town so I’m gunna go unpack my bags. I can’t wait to move into my new place in your home and heart! Fill out and application at Pixieproject.org to meet me. I come neutered, vaccinated. Adoption fee $250. See you again soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAX, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
