Rusty-Adoption Pending's Story...
Rusty is a one year old spayed female terrier. She weighs 14 pounds and has a scruffy strawberry blond coat. She is the sweetest ultimate lap dog. She can't get enough lap time. She gets along well with the other dogs, but really wants to be with people. She likes men and women and climbed right into my 10 year old's lap too. She is calm and not very playful because she just wants to snuggle. She walks ok on a leash. She is crate trained. She will need some continued training before I would be comfortable calling her completely house trained, but has not relieved herself in my house. If you are looking for a snugly friend and think Rusty may be the girl for you, please call Terri evenings or weekends at 925.417.1180. Please note- if you don't receive a return call, please assume she has found her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty-Adoption Pending, a Pleasanton Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Pleasanton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Pleasanton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pleasanton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pleasanton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pleasanton paves the way for another one to be saved.
