Here are two of the cutest (and most unusual looking!) little Aussie-Boston Puppies ever to be saved out of the south! 13 week old Gilda and brother Gilmore lived on a breeder’s front porch for the first three months of their lives. They weigh 12-15 lbs now and will most likely be 30-40lbs when grown. They were only socialized with one adult so are consequently very shy and insecure. They LOVE other dogs, cats and even kids and are coming out of their shells in foster the care the last 10 days. Gilda is less shy, Gilmore a little bit more uncertain about new things. But very playful and get super excited over doggie playmates so it would be great for adopters or foster potential to have another dog. They had not touched grass or outside until we picked them up! They are exploring the house, the outdoors and an entire new life with hesitancy but excitement. They are not fearful, and will let you pick them up, but still just unsure. They have the most gorgeous coats, a mix of Aussie merle and Boston brindle…and each have one blue and one brown eye! In only a few days, Tracy foster mom has said they have already changed so much. If you have experience with shy dogs, lots of patience or just know the Aussie breed- you'll do great with one of these two as it won't take long for them because they are so young. Momma is a Boston terrier and daddy the Australian shepherd and siblings Greer, Gibbs and Gabe arrived two weeks ago. We hope to fly these two on Thursday Oct 16th to a foster home or adopter who loves the challenge of helping one of these adorable, sweet, playful and most deserving (plus totally adorable!!) puppies! They are vaccinated, pee pad trained, crate trained and micro-chipped. Gilda and Gilmore would love to bond with you hard and fast and need you more than any puppy out there!
