Paydirt's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Paydirt's Story...
Paydirt is a 4 month old male kitten from Bushwick. He was trapped along with his siblings and feral momma. Although born feral, he has embraced housecat living to the fullest! He loves being petted and held, and quickly adjusts to new people and situations. When he grows up, he'll be the kind of cat who meets you at the door and stands on your head in the morning to wake you up. He's a lotta fun!

Paydirt can only be adopted to a home with another kitten or cat. It's important for young kittens to learn from other cats how to grow up well-adjusted. His 3 siblings are also available for adoption, just ask!

Paydirt has been neutered, vaccinated, tested and microchipped. You can meet him at his foster home or come to our weekly adoption events in Williamsburg (email us to confirm). Text or email for more into or to set up a meeting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paydirt, a Brooklyn American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
