Valentino's Story...
Meet Valentino, 3 month old 7.5 lbs puppy from LA County Downey Shelter. When Valentino left the shelter, he was sick with upper respiratory infection. He was treated and now is playing with his toys. Valentino was treated for roundworms. He was very shy and scared but he is learning to trust. He is semi pottie trained and knows to go on the peepee pad. He is terrified of the out doors.

The little guy needs a home that will give lots of love and time to trust. If you are interested in adopting Valentino, please fill out an application on our website: www.savingk9livesplus.org

Thank you for choosing to adopt!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Valentino, a Encino Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso for sale in Encino, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
