Stella's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Stella's Story...
Stella is about 3 yr old. We don't know what her life was like before being rescued, but it must have not been a good one. She has been placed into a foster home with other dogs (she is good with big and small dogs) She must have other dogs in her home. She takes cues from them and is much more comfortable. She will follow you around the house, but if you turn around to look at her, she will run off. She needs a home without children due to her fearfulness. She needs a patient home that is not looking for a snuggle bug, and is content to know she may never be one.

Adopt A Rescue Pet holds adoption events on Saturday & Sunday from 10am-4pm at the following PETCO location :

1631 West Craig Rd (Craig/MLK) (NLV)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Las Vegas Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
