My story

My name is Bucky and I am a 4-5 year old Boston Terrier mix weighing 19 lbs. I was lost and wandered up to a nice lady's house and she brought me inside to dry me off because I was soaking wet and it wasn’t even raining. Maybe someone threw me in a pond or a ditch filled with water? It was a mystery to everyone that a handsome boy like me was lost and no one ever came looking for me at the shelter. I fortunately had Critter Cavalry Rescue take me in and find me a foster home while went through my vetting. One of the things I like best to do is sit in your lap and just be your best friend. I am the best and sweetest lap dog ever. I also like to go for walks on my leash, and lay in the grass in the sunshine. I like to hang out with kids, and other dogs, some cats I like to hang out with and some I like to chase. I like to run and play with my Labrador friend, and hang with my people. I would be happy to guard your remote for you while you are gone, and give you kisses when you get home. I would love to just lay and get petted while we watch TV together or even lay on a doggie blanket by your feet while you work on the computer. Someone did a not so nice tail docking on me when I was a baby so it’s not the prettiest tail in the world but there is so much more to me than my tail. My beauty is on the inside as well as the outside. Even though I have no tail to wag to let you know that I am happy to see you, I can sure let you know by the wiggle of my body and the twinkle in my eyes as you walk in the door!
