Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***URGENT FOSTER/FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR BO***
Meet Bo, a goofy 1 year old Rottweiler boy who is looking for an active, large breed experienced home.
Bo is a typical young dog that needs an owner to give him positive direction to harness in his puppy excitement. Bo would benefit from an active home going for frequent walks, off-leash runs in a safe place, mind-stimulating games like hide-and-seek with treats, and play-time to let out his excitement and energy as he thoroughly enjoys being outdoors. A home with another dog and a fenced yard would be perfect for Bo to have a play-mate and we bet it would be an entertaining sight to watch Bo happily play with another dog for hours.
Bo is a smart boy with great potential to learn so much more. He is crate trained, knows the hand signals for sit and stay and other than putting anything he finds on the floor in his mouth which he would need to be taught the “leave it” trick. Bo is not a door dasher either, he knows to wait for his invitation, which is perfect to ensure he stays safely inside the house every time the door opens. Bo walks amazing on leash and even knows to wait at all corners before crossing the road, what a smart cookie! Bo has a gift of understanding more complex commands too. Bo is fully housetrained and only barks when warranted.
Since Bo is such an exuberant boy, he needs to be taught to keep all 4 paws on the ground when excited and when meeting new people. In the right home this can be easily taught with patience, consistency, and a lot of praise.
When it is time for his bed time he mostly goes on his own to his blanket and lays down. He loves to have a massage before he goes to sleep and he sleeps for about 8 hours without a peep. Bo's favourite snack is carrots. He prefers them over dog cookies. He also loves most vegetables so long as they are crunchy including broccoli stems, carrots and watermelon.
If you feel that adding a young, goofy, and loveable boy like Bo will make your home complete, please fill out an application form or contact us.
