My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Luke! I'm a big handsome black cat with the sleek coat, round build and eyes of a Bombay, though I'm no fancy purebred.

I came here when a nice lady saw me getting thrown out of a car where some community cats lived. I hit my head on the pavement and was too scared to come to her for a few days. I finally did and she was able to get me the medical care (and the love!) I needed to heal.

In spite of all that, within a couple of weeks I was ready to love again. I'm well on my way now and as you can see, I'm very affectionate to those I know. Understandably, it can take a little while to warm up, but once I do, I'm all about purrs and pets.

I get along great with the other cats here, so I'm sure I'd fit right in with your cats too. At probably only about a year old, I'm like a big kitten, ready to play whenever I get the chance.

I can be adopted for $80, which includes my negative virus testing, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, food & litter starter kit, a month of free insurance and a free vet visit voucher. I'm in a loving foster home right now, so please call 719-635-5000 to come meet me!
