My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Miss Piggy I am looking for my forever home. I love one on one time with my humans!

I may be a bit older, age 9, they think, but age is just a number .

I still like to play with other dogs and with my foster family. My favorite thing to do is go on long car rides with the family. If I see you grab the car keys I'm going to give you sad eyes until you feel so bad, you have to take me. Should my sad face not do the trick then I'm going to try to bolt out that door anyway!

My foster mom calls me spoiled. There are a few things you should know about me. I have some back leg issues that cause me some pain so I have to take medicine for the rest of my life. I had a torn ACL years ago that was never repaired. I have mild hip dysplasia and my foster mommy gives me frequent warm water soaks, which I love! My medicines include Tramadol and Carprofen. Also, 3 mg daily melatonin.

However, that hasn't stopped me from playing with my foster parents and fur sister. The medicine helps a lot. I can get snippy with some dogs especially if I haven't had my medicine . Sometimes I get jealous sometimes if my mom is loving on my fur sister when I feel she should be loving on me. Also I am deaf, hey bulldogs don't listen anyway! lol. My foster mom is trying to teach me new tricks, I do a few of them. I know Sit, come, and the sign for treat. She also taught me the sign for kisses but all of these things just depend on if I WANT to do them at that moment.

I am not fond of having a leash on me, the leash issue goes along with deaf dogs, I am told. Because of that fact, I will need a fenced yard. I can get cranky when you try to wash my face. When my foster mom leaves I do have some slight issues with separation anxiety . I am working on all these issue and have come a long way already .

My foster mom says I might have a couple of quirks, but I make up for them and she says I'm perfect in every other way. Did I mention I'm the best cuddlier in the world? I hope to find my forever home to cuddle with for the rest of my life .
