Maddie's Story...
Hi~~I'm Mattie . I'm an 11 year old Boston Terrier Pug mix. Don't you love my curly tail? It is almost as cute as my monkey face with the underbite that shows my tiny bottom front teeth. I have a very sweet, easygoing personality that makes me an ideal cuddle buddy. I get along wih everybody & I am perfectly house trained. My foster mom says that I will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a low maintenance pet. I currently weigh about 34 pounds but my foster mom is supplementing my diet with green beans to help me shed some weight. My foster sister Stella has lost 14 pounds so far with green beans so by the time that you meet me at an adoptathon I may look a lot trimmer than my photos.

The adoption fee of $150 covers all vetting including spay/neuter, all sets of shots, microchip, heartworm test, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, dental if needed, blood work if needed, heartworm treatment if needed, any surgeries if needed like hip or knee, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Mount Pleasant Boston Terrier/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Pug for sale in Mount Pleasant, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Pug dog from a breeder in Mount Pleasant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Pleasant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Pleasant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Pug breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Pleasant paves the way for another one to be saved.
