Bindy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bindy's Story...
Bindy is a sweet little pup who barely made it out of the shelter alive because he had parvo. We rescued him and sister, Mindy and made sure they fully recovered. He looks like a mini wire haired fox terrier mix. He is 6 lbs and approx 13 weeks old at 10/15/14 so he is going to be a small breed dog. He is a little shy and very sweet. He likes to hang out in his doggie bed with his sister and likes the security of an open cage at night with a pen so he can run in and out for his food and water. He has a very nice disposition and is one happy little dog, he will need house and harness training but seems to be a very smart boy.

The total adoption cost of $425 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport ($225), spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a pre paid registration($200). The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bindy, a Allentown Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
