My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piglet (standard grey) & Layla (mosaic) are a bonded pair of girls whose former owner had a change in life circumstances. They are tightly bonded and Layla is not receptive to adding a third wheel to their love fest. Piglet is somewhat cage defensive, but once out to play is actually quite a snuggle bug! She enjoys scritches on the head and will tolerate some tummy tickles. Layla is more easygoing and doesn't grumble like her cagemate about playtime. These girls are approximately 8-10 years old. They would be perfect for someone new to chinchillas who may be concerned about an extremely long term commitment. They are fat, healthy and happy. They just need a nice family or chinparent to share their remaining years.
