This was a very unlikely pair.

Sophie is an older chin whose former owner bred her then tried to rebond her with her adult daughter. The daughter was already tightly bonded with another female and did not tolerate the addition of her blood relative. Sophie suffered a pretty severe blow which ruined her chances of bonding with another female. Sophie rejected nearly every other female we introduced.

Tu-How came to us as a very young surrender whose former owner did not not how to properly catch and handle a chinchilla. Tu-How is extremely defensive, but is young enough to learn better behavior. The two are polar opposites. Sophie is 10 years old and the perfect lap kitten. She's an absolute doll! Tu-How is a retched little trouble maker, still a baby.

The two girls are completely in love, however and would need an owner who is willing to either work to gain Tu-How's trust, or simply let her be Sophie's snuggle buddy.

Adoption fee: $150 for the pair.
