Peter Pan's Story...
** Special reduced adoption fee to encourage people to consider mature pets. $85 **

Paulding County Animal Control was going to have to put 20+ dogs to sleep to make room for more coming in. This is a heartbreaking reality of pet overpopulation but the staff decided they would do their darndest to change the tide. They called lots of rescue groups and finally some said "Yes, we can save your dogs." Music to everyone's ears!

Peter Pan is a result of this happy arrangement. He's an alert but mild-mannered 36-pound 6-year-old. He's an interesting mix of several breeds and has a curly top coat, foxy face and adorable bobbed tail.

Peter Pan wants to make his own Neverland at your house where he'll never have to worry about being homeless again!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peter Pan, a Marietta Curly-Coated Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Curly-Coated Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Curly-Coated Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Curly-Coated Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Curly-Coated Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
