Dakota's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dakota's Story...
Dakota came to us from another shelter where he kept getting over looked. He was an owner turn in along with his sister, but she got adopted when he didn't. He's just over a year old, walks on a leash, is housebroken, and gets along with everybody, except maybe cats and that we don't know. He's a beautiful boy with one bright blue eye, no one knows why he can't seem to find his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Santa Clara Dalmatian/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Border Collie for sale in Santa Clara, or seeking a Dalmatian/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Santa Clara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Clara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Clara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Border Collie breeders who help with Dalmatian/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Clara paves the way for another one to be saved.
