My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh, Sugar. You really are a sweet thing, with none of the shaking, bossy traits that sometimes come with Chihuahuas. This little darling lost her home when her owner became very ill and moved to a hospice for the remainder of her life.

At 10 years old, she's a mature, well-behaved little dog. Sugar enjoys the company of cats, dogs and people of all ages, and she'll dance and bounce a bit when you offer to take her outside.

Her previous owner took particularly good care of her, including tracking down the source of Sugar's allergies. She's allergic to barley, eggs, corn and soy, so she needs to eat only certain brands of food (and we can provide a comprehensive list of options). These allergies don't require any other type of maintenance.
