Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Remi is a tall, lean 17-pound boy with a beautiful white and grey coat and a charming, inquisitive nature. At six years old, he has it all figured out and knows how to sit, kennel-up, go out, and come when you call. Remi is energetic and loves to play. Watching him run after dogs at the dog park that are chasing balls will make you smile. He loves his toys and will often stop to grab one before going out the door. When Remi takes off in the house on a mission, you can expect to see him run back clutching a toy in his mouth. He loves to be petted and will give a gentle nudge to keep it going when you stop. Remi accepts being in his crate during the day as long as he can see his foster IG siblings, but he doesn’t like to be left behind by himself wondering where everyone has gone without him--who does? He does well going potty outside, but patience is a virtue while you wait as he looks for the perfect spot, or spots to go.
Remi had a couple of seizures when he first came in to rescue, but they have not persisted. He passed his vet-check with flying colors and is not on any medications. Through no fault of his own, Remi has moved between several homes over the past two years. It hasn’t dampened his spirit, but in new situations he might need coaxing to start eating his meals or take a treat from your hand. Once his trust is gained, he will bark enthusiastically at meal time, drape himself over a lap, and melt a heart with his expressive eyes. Remi is happy and loves to snuggle but is not a “Velcro” dog. He loves playing, loves his foster IG brothers, and his foster family. He will love you, too, and is ready to make a wonderful addition to your family.
