Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST COURTESY POST COURTESY POST
Bear...naked.
This handsome black beauty of a creature is currently a stray at the Hazel Park Animal Shelter.
The dedicated people there felt their hearts break when they saw Bear walking down the street, left to fend for himself.
Bear has a large part of the back of his hair missing due to a flea allergy that is currently being taken care of. A flea dip, a topical ointment and antibiotics has Bear growing his beautiful black hair back to it's former glory.
Bear is a pure breed black lab and as handsome as they come. One rescue worker was outside the shelter and heard this soft primal, mournful howl and asked where was that coming from....the shelter lady said it was Bear.
Although Bear is not in a home environment, he keeps a positive attitude. He knows how to sit and he offers his paw (as seen in the picture) to show his gentleness.
Bear is about 7-8 years old. Black lab. Approximately 70 pounds.
If adopted he will need to be neutered by contract.
If interested in meeting Bear, please call Nicki at 248 546 4096
