Demeanor: Mellow (at times), sweet, playful, active (at times), social, curious

Likes: Giving kisses, being held and snuggling, men, women and children, bones and stuffed toys are okay, car rides

Dislikes: Most dogs (but may be okay with one under the right circumstances), cats, loud sounds/voices (at times), quick hands (will cower)

Manners: Housebroken, leash trained and now crate trained

Other: Fenced yard required

Tidbits: Gracie is absolutely adorable and very much likes to be the center of attention of her people. She enjoys the company of her foster doggy siblings and would probably like her next home to have a pal or two as well. When Gracie is overstimulated or overwhelmed, she has a tendency to snap at other dogs. She will also ask to be picked up as if she wants to be reassured in your arms. This has only happened one or two times outside of the foster home (at an event, etc.). She simply needs to be reassured and removed from the environment that is causing her anxiety and she’ right back to her darling little self.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350.00 which includes altering, heartworm testing, vaccines, micro-chipping, harness, leash and identification tags. This dog is being fostered in a private home and is not available for viewing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Greensboro Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
