Tyson's Story...
He-roh, my name is Tyson, but my friends call me TY. They call me a pittie baby, at least that's what my foster mama calls me. I think I'm about 2 years old and growing outta them puppy stages. Don't let my cropped ears fool you, I am a HUGE lover. I kill 'em with cuddles and kisses. I know my basic commands, like "sit & "stay" stuff and love to roll over for some belly rubbing when done with the training stuff. I was attacked by another dog, which has me a bit nervous around other doggies now, but my foster mama has been working hard at socializing me with all kinds of other canine friends. I do have a couple of puppy friends I play with at mama's work shop and let them pretty much run all over me – even take bones right out of my mouth. Mama said I just need to learn to trust adult doggies again. And I'm trying real hard. I'm good with all ages of humans and am just looking for a human to call me their own. Are you that human?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyson, a Toledo American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Toledo, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
