MEET JASPER
According to Wikipedia, Jasper means spotted or speckled stone. On another website, bestcrystals.com, Jasper is a stone of protection used by shamen and is a supreme nurturer which balances, stabilizes and eliminates negative energy. These are all characteristics of our puppy, JASPER. An 11 month old, 12 lbs black and white spotted Doxie pie bald mix, JASPER is all puppy, and super loving...even with younger children, which goes along with the descriptions of protector and nurturer. JASPER is a loving little guy who needs some puppy training and a family to love him forever and ever as he will love them. Are you looking for balance in your life? OUR CRITERIA (aka The Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer nonsmokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember, these are rescues; many were surrendered because of these issues.
WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN WITH YOUR LITTLE RESCUE:
All our dogs are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Pyrantyl, nails trimmed, and dental when needed. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, sorry no exceptions, as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.
