Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB August 1, 2004
Meet Master Splinter, a handsome Siamese with wise eyes. His foster mom calls him a "Don Juan" cat. He does little nose kisses and is very affectionate in a way that seems to say "I am exclusively for you." One morning, she awoke to gentle nibbles on her ear from Master Splinter. However, he is very demanding for attention. He easily creates bonds with humans. He is a lovely cat who is wonderful to be with and be around. He also knows to pose for the camera. A real charmer!
Master Splinter loves heat, so he will sit near anything warm, such as a sun beam and he will bury himself under a blanket. He also loves plastic bags, but will chew them. He loves to play, but his age has caught up with him and he gets out of breath fairly easily.
He has a way of making a person feel that he is "the one and only." He has a loud meow, and will lower it just slightly if told to "shhh...". In fact, he needs a considerable amount of affection and attention and will meow constantly if he isn't getting it. However, if his emotional and physical needs are being met, he is a contented cat that naps frequently and is a healing companion in the household.
After ten years, Master Splinter was surrendered to TCR by his owner. After some much needed love and affection from his foster mom he is ready for his forever home. He is best suited to a family who has Siamese experience. He might be okay with another feline or two given his affinity for watching cat videos on Youtube, but he is terrified of dogs. If you are looking for a loving companion, this guy could be the purr-fect new member to your home.
